Welcome to the Sul Ross Camp #1457 webpage. We meet monthly, on the fourth Thursday of each month, at 6:30 pm at the IHOP Restaurant, 758 N. Earl Rudder Fwy, Bryan, Texas (no regular meeting in Nov. or Dec.). We order from the menu and begin the meeting, usually with an interesting speaker on some aspect of the history of the War or the 1861-65 era, about 7:00 pm.


The public is always welcome.


We also meet informally for fellowship and planning on the second Thursday of each month at 5:15-6:30 pm in the Ozona Grill and Bar in College Station.

The Sons of Confederate Veterans is a genealogical-historical organization dedicated to preserving the history and honoring the memory of our Confederate ancestors. The SCV is the direct heir of the United Confederate Veterans, and the oldest hereditary organization for male descendants of Confederate soldiers. Organized at Richmond, Virginia, in 1896, the SCV continues to serve as a historical, patriotic, and non-political organization dedicated to insuring that a true history of the 1861-65 period is preserved.
